A Program of Sacred and Classical Music

On Sunday, February 20th at 4:00 PM, the St. Joseph's Singers, conducted by Stephen Black, presented a concert featuring the famous Vesperae solennes de Confessore of Mozart, K. 339. The soprano soloist was Jennifer Behnke. Other works on the program included the double-choir motet Komm, Jesu, komm by J.S. Bach and an a cappella setting of the Magnificat by the Estonian composer Arvo Pärt.

St. Joseph's is located at 404 East 87th Street (cross-street, 1st Avenue) and is handicapped-accessible. The church is convenient to the M101 and M86 bus routes, as well as the 4, 5, 6 subway station at 86th Street and Lexington Avenue.
